ALWAYS AWAITING THE MAIL PERSON!!!!

I have lately been eagerly awaiting the delivery of the mail as of late, only to find it might have backfired in my face.. Let me explain---Most if not all of you family readers know that I have been suspended from my job. This 'suspension' is to last for 120 days starting on xmas day and ending April 24th.. I can go on and on about whether I was 'railroaded' no pun intended, or the 'kangaroo court' that was held to determine my fate, as I can't undo what is already done so I will continue--

I have relied on the snail mail to get needed forms to and from several important companies that will provide my very supportive wife and myself with the $$ that are needed to survive in this world.. It has really taken it's toll on my patience as Becky can atest too, as she has been walking on egg shells for a month or better with my moods not in the best frame. So I am always awaiting the mail person to see what new and important form that has to be filled in perfectly and mailed out. Anyway today the 'sub' mail person showed up ( I know that because he is early as the regular mail lady is always late) and low and behold to my suprise is a letter from the ......dreaded IRS!! Whoa that takes your breath away doesn't it!!!

To conclude this blog everything is coooolllll with them and hopefully the effort that I have put forth this last couple of weeks, mailing forms and everything else that those companies wanted will payoff before we have to sell the truck, house, and even worse the Snow blower!!! Winter is still here and it is gonna show up again this week and weekend with round 7 (every weekend for 7 weeks it has snowed)..

Smile and remember the sun comes up in the east and goes down in the west (except in the winter in Laramie) where it comes up kinda south and goes down a little farther to the west but way down low on the horizon!!

RYDER KILLING WOLVES!!!

Ryder came over to visit yesterday so to keep him "occupied" Becky introduced him to WOW.. He enjoyed killing the wolves and everything else he could get his sword on.. He just needs to learn how to type so he can find the 'Hot keys" that is required to play the game..

I tried to wait out everyone else on an update of the web pages but I caved in!!

This is the result of the extreme wind or whatever is blowing with it!! This is a break to our back bedroom window!! If you look closely you will see the 'crack' in the double pane window.. Hopefully it will hold until we can get it replaced!! Sooner now than later for sure!!

Gives a whole new meaning to "when it rains it pours" huh!!

Hold on to you hats around here cuz Nebraska needs the snow worse that we do!! Ha!!Ha!!

LOOKS KINDA "FUNKY"!!!

I got this hat several years ago for Christmas and I have put it to good use blowing snow here lately!! The full 'grey' beard comes in handy too!!

BECKY WAS RIGHT!!!

It didn't last 2 hours!! As you can see the wind has considerably picked up speed as it is now blowing at 44mph sustained speed with gusts up to 70.. Needless to say the roads in and out of Laramie are closed as they are also closed out of Cheyenne and Rawlins, so the 'big blow' is here for 2-3 days..

Bonnie and Jim stopped by on their way back 'home' in Albany and said the roads were really crappy and it started snowing so that means the conditions will probably get worse here before they get better!! Good day for cold beer and a couple of football games on the ole TV..

Here is what 3 snowstorms look like!!

The end of Eberhart street looking west is just a huge pile of snow after several days of plowing the snow from infront of the 3 houses that are west of mine!!

Now the wind is blowing at a sustained 35mph which is blizzard conditions here in West Laramie and it created this drift early this morning. We haven't received any new snow since Thursday the 4th but mother nature is happy to re-arrange what she gave us.. I have since snow blowed it out but Becky has given it 2-3 hours to be back.. No matter cuz I will have to keep working on it to keep the driveway open to get the truck out..

Looks like the green car is grounded for a while in the garage!!
